I grew up in Northwest Indiana, in the shadow of Chicago, where you learned early that nobody hands you anything. That lesson never left.
I played football and baseball through high school, and both taught me the same thing: field position matters, momentum is real, and execution under pressure is the only thing anyone remembers. Those aren't metaphors for me. They're how I think about a deal, and how I run a training room.
At Ball State, I was elected president of my fraternity, Delta Tau Delta. I learned to lead a room of people who could walk away any time they wanted, before I ever had a title that made them listen. That's the same skill I use running a workshop or coaching a sales manager today.
I lead enterprise sales, running full-cycle deals into complex accounts, AI-era positioning, and competitive strategy against entrenched incumbents. I've sat across the table from Fortune 200 executives and closed the deal by asking the question nobody else in the room was willing to ask.
I built The Sales Builder because most sales training comes from people who stopped selling years ago. Mine doesn't. Every framework I teach gets tested in a live deal before it gets taught to a room.

I'm based in Indianapolis and building a deeper life in the local business community here: training teams, advising owners, and putting enterprise-grade sales thinking to work for companies that never had access to it before.
I'll travel or run sessions remotely for the right company outside Indiana. If the problem is real and the fit is right, distance isn't the deciding factor. Outside of work, I live with my wife and our two boys, who play hockey and lacrosse at a level that keeps our family calendar honest. I box to stay sharp. I bleed Chicago sports, win or lose.
